Melalui konsep hutan wakaf, lahan kritis seluas 4,7 hektare yang sebelumnya tandus direhabilitasi menjadi kawasan hutan sekunder yang hijau dan hidup. Peneliti dan akademisi, termasuk Fachruddin M. Mangunjaya, menilai pendekatan ini relevan dalam menjawab tantangan perubahan iklim melalui integrasi etika lingkungan dan nilai agama. Kawasan tersebut juga mulai dimanfaatkan untuk pendidikan lingkungan, penelitian biodiversitas, hingga pengembangan agroforestri berbasis masyarakat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Melalui pendekatan wakaf, hutan tidak diposisikan sebagai komoditas yang dapat dieksploitasi, melainkan sebagai amanah lintas generasi.
